Following on from the last posting perhaps it’s time we had an open comments thread.
You can say what you like here. I guess you can say whatever you like on any other posting but it just wouldn’t seem right. Anyway, you can say anything you like here. Preferably about transport or the blog - we’re more likely to pay attention to it that way.
What would be really cool would be if people could flag up stories that we haven’t covered or their own experiences. You can, of course, e-mail us if you prefer but you might find this easier with the added advantage that whatever you have to say is, at least, out there somewhere in cyberspace.
Just to make the point that things said here do matter, whenever a comment is left here both an e-mail is sent to the author ie, me and a note is left on our top secret behind-the-scenes notice board.

The purpose of this site is to match people who need lifts to people who can offer a lift. Who work and live in the same areas as each other.
This website will help in a variety of ways. There are savings to be made by the people offering lifts as well as those giving lifts. Those receiving lifts will not have to pay for the wear and tear of their cars, they may be asked to contribute to parking and or petrol. The more people being lifted the more costs can be saved. Remember if your charge is too much the people will just try and get lifts with other people.
Those giving lifts more than likely would have been going by car anyway, so they will have a person or persons contributing to the payment of the petrol and parking.
This site will be especially beneficial to people seeking work. Using this site will allow job seekers to expand their job search areas, which would in turn would increase their chances of getting a job.
Another advantage of using this website, is the lowing of traffic on the roads. Again this will save our environment and will decrease the chances of traffic jams, thus making your journey to work quicker. With less traffic on the road, could prevent accidents.
You might be interested to know that an e-petition has been launched through the No.10 website, aimed at getting the Prime Minister to “tackle the environmental, economic and health consequences of ever increasing traffic congestion and car usage.” If you want to sign it and show your support for having a serious and informed debate about road user charging please visit this website <http://petitions.pm.gov.uk

Hello there.
You may be interested in a new website I’ve been working on in the last months:
http://www.theairdb.com/
I think it is a good resource for people wanting to have an easy source of information about airport, routes and airline worldwide.
Please let me have any feedback…
There is a new website just launched about a new transport solution. This system is fast, safe, very economical to install, and is environmentally friendly.
Imagine NOT having to sit in traffic! Check it out:
