Some MPs are calling for VAT on flights. Now, while I am (more or less) in favour of taxes being used to compensate the victims of pollution, I do object when there are no victims and there is no compensation.

  1. Who really believes that paying yet more tax to MP’s allows them to control the weather/climate/temperature? The attempted manipulation, unilateral or otherwise, of a single climate factor, CO2, is a policy not fit for the purpose of controlling the 4.5 billion year old phenomenon known as ‘climate change.’
