The perfect logo…?

...for a passenger transport executive (Greater Manchester in this case).

Hint:  In case you haven’t already spotted the flaw just imagine what would happen if you tried turning one of the gears.

  1. Those gears are in the mechanical version of grid lock, so maybe this is thoroughly appropriate for a road and highway authority.

  3. So we’ve progressed from the old British Rail “I don’t know whether I’m coming or going” logo to this new “Don’t do something, just stand there” one.

  4. I shoved this up on Samizdata (http://www.samizdata.net/blog/archives/2008/02/gridlocked_tran.html) yesterday morning.  Lots of discussion about Manchester trams, and a purchase of two trams from America, to see if they would work in Manchester.  They didn’t.  Various comments saying what a waste of money, but it all sounded rather sensible to me.

  5. Hilarious! What’s the point of PTEs anyway?
