This is fun. The Japanese have invented a road that plays a tune. It's all to do with etching grooves into the tarmac, apparently. Only one question remains: what tune should they use, Driving, Autobahn, Cars, Leader of the Pack? What tune would you like to have transmitted into your cabin by the magic of rubber on asphalt?

  2. I had this idea after driving on the strip at the side of the motorway that makes a loud noise to wake up sleepy drivers.  Glad to hear someone put it into practice!

    (I also had the idea of getting a dot matrix printer to play a tune by printing an image with different frequencies of lines.  I wonder if anyone has tried that…)
